Overview

Northstar ("US Lead Desk") is a web application that helps users discover and analyze publicly available business information in the United States. This policy describes the categories of data the platform processes based on actual product behavior.

Account information

When you create an account, we store credentials and profile fields needed for authentication (such as email, display name, and role). Session data is used to keep you signed in to the workspace.

Lead and discovery data

Discovery runs store search criteria (state, city, niche, desk, limits) and resulting lead records derived from public sources. Lead records may include business names, public contact information, website URLs, public social links, and intelligence fields computed from available public signals.

Commerce and wallet data

Credit balances, purchase records, and transaction ledger entries are stored server-side to support the credit-based product model. These records are tied to your user account for auditability.

Outreach and integrations

If you connect Gmail or send outreach from the workspace, related message metadata and draft content are stored to support campaign workflow, approvals, and delivery status. Connected integration tokens are stored securely for authorized sending on your behalf.

Contact form

Messages submitted through the public contact form are stored in platform operational records so the team can respond. Do not submit sensitive personal data unrelated to your inquiry.

Logs and security

Server logs may include IP addresses, request metadata, and error diagnostics for security monitoring and reliability. Rate limits are applied to sensitive public endpoints such as signup and contact submission.

What we do not claim

Northstar does not market access to private social networks, hidden profiles, or non-public personal data. Intelligence is based on public-source collection and rule-based analysis within the product.

Your choices

You can sign out at any time. Account deletion or data export requests can be submitted through the contact form. We will handle operational requests consistent with how the platform stores data.

We may update this policy when product behavior changes. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a revised date.
